As the snow melts and the sun shines in the sky longer each day, as did life come back to the lands of the Vikings after long winter so does our new season begin.

2013's Nordhere season has reached its end.
Trainers, shows in Alberta, Manitoba and of course our home province of Saskatchewan have come and gone.
We all had a wonderfull time preforming for the public, visiting our fellow Vikings on the combat field and in Village ( such as the massivly sucessful Icelandic Festival in Gimli Manitoba this year ).
Now we settle in as vikings do for the winter, cleaning gear,making new gear, mending clothing and of course planning for the next years events.
There will be training and crafting this winter, and we will be inviting the public to visit and learn ( and JOIN US ) in our endeavors to bring this vibrant cilture back to life for all to learn from.
Great 2013 and hello 2014....

Nordhere 2013 Vikings Trainer
Friday, May 31 to Monday June 3rd, 2013.
All Vikings Vinland Members in good standing are welcome
To be held at the Recio farm (same as 2011), Just 10 km outside Clavet, Saskatchewan (map and GPS coordinates to follow).
Period and modern camping space available.As in 2010, facilities will available including outdoor porta potty.
Arrival / setup / take down / depart days are Friday May 31 and Monday June 3.There are no training events those 2 days.
Training events start at 9 am June 1, Saturday and continue until Sunday June 2, 5 pm.
There will be a Vikings Social Dinner (provided) at 6 pm on Saturday June 1st.
We hope to have a number of assessment opportunities available, dependent on RTT’s attending ( TBA )
A Stipend of 10.00 per participant is requested to pay for facilities and wind up supper.All other meals are participant’s responsibility.
